*Edit: Increased sound quality since DA's limit is 30mb . Scene selection (for some odd reason) Only works if you're using the latest flashplayer AND firefox. Sorry IE folks but i got no clue how to get it working for you. (though it does work if you press and view it in the download bit)*
If you have trouble viewing it here, you can go to:
6 weeks in the making, and then 4 weeks making it again.
This flash has got to be the most unluckest flash i've ever made. Not ONLY did the copies corrupt all the time, but my stylus pen broke, i got a bad eye infection AND digestive infection, and to top it all off, the main FLA files got a memory leak so bad that i could no longer add anything to it. So after another 4 weeks of assing about, i finally have it ready. And i an't adding no moar!
This flash has the most frame by frame i've ever done, about 85% of this movie is, and it damn near killed me too. The file size of the swf got a little too large so i had to go back through and tween things that i could get away with. Shows that doing it all frame by frame isn't as possible as i thought.
I had to cut it short at the end due to file size limits, as well as pushing flash to its own limitations, so apologise for that.
ANYWHO i'll leave you to sit back and watch what i've been working on for the past month and a smidgen.
I dunno if i've forgotten anything, if i have ah well. I'm done with it!
Critiques on animation are welcome! Ah must improveeee
It is really good your effort shows, not as much tweening as as your previous animations. The audio was top-notch, the voice acting was as clear as spring water, the music wasn't loud enough to not hear the voices, same goes for the sound effects. The animation was beautiful, but i was most impressed with the backgrounds. The action intense and hilarious and the, it was a quirky sense of humor reminiscent of old 80s-90s cartoons. Honestly, i can't find anything wrong with it. It was an animation that is at TV show level. Hope to see more. Good luck!
Well, I think it might be wise to put a "flashing strobe effect lights" warning, since there ARE a lot of flashing lights at FASTER than 24 frames per second, which might be dangerous to those who are inclined towards seizures.
The movement is superb, although I noticed Shrike's "blur" movement was slightly recycled between the scenes.
It's also great that you have a nice grasp on how Physics really work, so you bend those rules quite nicely. You know how they say that "In art, you have to know the rules well in order to break them the right way."
I've got to say, you also use Easing (manual as well as tween-based) very well, and you've got a great grasp on timing.
The whole "Quick-In, Pause, Quick Out" effect is one that people try a lot, but rarely get right, but you've got your stuff together.
Don't pay too much attention to the stars; the real stuff is over in the text anyways (I'm sure you're well aware of that too^^).
One thing I noticed was that you don't seem to fond of your characters interacting with your backgrounds (I know how much of a pain that is; I hate it too), as seen in the First Scene in the ship where Shrike plops down on the chair, and where Diz walks behind the "fixture" in the first scene.
"Baby's" tiptoe-ing bothered me slightly too, unless he's walking as if he's got "shoes" on.
If he's "barefoot," another "joint" would make it smoother.
Also, as for interactivity, there's a great scene selection, but there seems no way to get to the main menu from the animation while it's playing.
Man, this makes me want to get back and use all that knowledge from Animation and Character Design and make a Flash animation myself...

You make divine video's. Your ''bad luck'' could be that the divine is telling you that you should be changing something in how the internet works so that thay can be sold, you have revenue from this sort of things.
Meanwhile other people are making your money. E.g.: I live in the Netherlands and heard that Microsoft has proposed that programming should become a normal school class. (''vak'' in Dutch, like English, mathematics, geography, ....)
This is no worry for other viewers, even really wanting to keep this sort of thing accessable.
Anyway, if the divine has a message for you, and I focused your attention to it, made interest: that sort of message should be somehow ''easily'' accesable to you.
