I agree with Mr-Tea-and-Crumpets. It should depend on the need you have. If you want to speed up and want the reader to concentrate on the story, use less colors. If you want to make it a master piece and want the reader to concentrate on the art, use full colors. Better not to over do it, or slack too much
I like them both, but with their settings. Broad daylight and "normal" indoor lighting: it's best to utilize the clean coloring. When it's dramatic or dark, I love the black.
I liked your older style more, it had a degree of boldness I liked. Still, I think it really depends on the mood you're going for so it's up to you to make up your mind.
I think color, because anything of that kind of jazz is more eye-catching to the masses. Black is nice too, but I think that it'd be more fitted to flashback/memories and stuff
