Tomato (Toe-MAY-toe) IS A LIE!

I do not see it spelled "tomayto" so I will not pronounce it like that.

I pronounce it TO-MA-TO.

I pronounce it like this
tomato(tuh-mey-toh)!

I had no idea people in the UK or wherever else mostly used "Tom-mah-to" ... If I've ever heard someone from anywhere but the US say it, I'm pretty sure they still said "To-may-to"

...

So is "To-may-to" the common pronunciation around the whole world?

It's safe to say the only time I've ever hear anyone say to-MAY-toe is in American film and TV.

So, I go with to-MAH-toe.

To-MAH-toe. We (the English of England) invented the spoken and written English language, syntax, grammar and pronunciations. If WE say it's toe-MAH-toe it's fucking toe-MAH-toe.
